Welcome 2008-2009 Region X CRC meeting and conference

April 30th through May 2nd. 

This year’s meeting is being held at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Hotel in Irvine, California, your gateway to “The OC”.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is mere minutes from the John Wayne Airport with complimentary shuttle service available.  Close to world famous attractions, gorgeous beaches and surrounded by terrific restaurants and nightlife, the Crowne Plaza Hotel is a perfect place to gather and conduct ASHRAE Region X business.

Room rates are ($109 per night) and we have held CRC registration and associated costs to a minimum.  You will find the hotel amenities and other features of the arrangements to be most satisfactory.  Room reservations can be booked immediately on this web page.

Suggested Arrival
In an effort to preserve your Wednesday work commitments, we suggest that you make plans to arrive by mid-day on Thursday for the Orientation Meeting at 3:00 PM, followed by a Welcome Reception at 4.  That evening we are planning a dinner cruise on Newport Bay.

Friday and Saturday schedules include the CRC business meetings and workshops.  In addition, Kent Peterson is planning a series of Technical Sessions for Friday morning.  Lunch on Friday will be hosted by ASHRAE President-Elect Mr. Gordon Holness and the popular Awards Dinner and reception will be held that evening.

Remember, the CRC registration fees will be separate of the hotel costs.  At this time we are working diligently to complete our Event Schedule, finalize the registration fees, brochure and web page before the end of March.  We will notify you as soon as these are available, so look for our next CRC announcement!

The meeting and hotel will be “kid-friendly”, fast paced and productive.  Schedule April 30 through May 2 as your “working getaway”.
