Message from the President: Mike Lynaugh

Dear Membership,

We live in exciting yet troubled times.  Social awareness of building efficiency has never been higher than it is today.  Many organizations, government entities and businesses are looking to ASHRAE for new and innovative solutions.  This push for innovation will be challenging yet rewarding to us and our profession. Our goals are to bring you informative subjects that are new and relevant to our industry and will be useful to you and your clients.

Uncertainty in the economy has resulted in reduced activity in our market. While things may look bleak, remember that demand for our services is increasing during this slow period and will eventually result in flood of clients needs when the economy gets better. In the mean time we look forward to helping membership foster new relationships and network connections so that when the economy snaps back into action we will be ready.

Orange Empire Chapter Officers, Board Members and Committee Chairs are diligently working for you in preparation for the 2009-2010 Orange Empire ASHRAE meetings and events. 

We hope that you will join us throughout the year.
